Sill: Mudroom

Inside the Sill Project, a comprehensive whole-home organizing project with modern flair.

The framework of the room included thoughtfully integrated lockers for each family member, a command center, and an extra storage closet. Each locker stores personal belongings like bags, daily shoes, in-season jackets and accessories (even Diego, the family dog, got his own locker). Leather bins on the shelves and in-drawer categorize and contain the accessories, while hooks allow for easy access both coming and going. The additional closet stores extra/out-of-season coats, shoes, totes and bags. In the command center - the upper cabinet has systems for important school papers, mail, and bill pay; while the lower drawers contain systems for grab-and-go items like keys, wallets, glasses and tech.
